The horse learns more body awareness, develops accuracy and it also trains my own timing. I do this very calmly with Guapo so I can correct him anytime. Although it needs some preparation. After my English exam, my mom dropped me off where After my English exam, my mom dropped me off where the horses were grazing throughout the day. I didnโ€™t have a rope or anything with me โ€” just the halter Guapo was already wearing. First I walked a little with them and then got on Guapo bareback and just rode home. No reins, no saddle. Remuda came along, totally free. Iโ€™ve never done it like this before, riding Guapo totally with Remuda free next to us. It was a bit of a risk. Because of Remuda would start running I knew I wouldnโ€™t be able to hold Guapo back. But they did amazing and it was magical experience.
